The body is solid basswood, and the neck is maple with a rosewood fret-board. The neck is fitted with 20 frets, adjustable truss rod, and very nice high-precision sealed-gear tuning machines. Other hardware includes a single a classic split humbucking pickup, one volume and one tone control, a fully adjustable bridge, and a white pick guard. The body is expertly finished both front and back in a beautiful high gloss translucent wine-red lacquer that allows the natural wood-grain to shine through, while the maple neck is finished in a clear lacquer.
