The three-pickup iGT03 electric six-string performs like a pro, offering separate tone and volume controls (two for tone and one for volume) and a five-way switch for blending the sound from among the pickups.

The guitar features a solid-wood body in maple, a hard maple wood neck, a rosewood fingerboard, chrome frets, chrome diecast head hardware, and even a whammy bar so you can practice your favorite Boston licks. The kit also includes a 15-watt practice amplifier (model iGA03) with a five-inch woofer, three-band equalizer, and an input for a single guitar. A headphone jack lets you rock out–or just practice scales–in private.

Great Starter Guitar
Perfect for my nine year old, who is just learning how to play. Looks cool and comes with everything you need.

have you ever heard of a guitar company called ION?!
i bought this guitar and i was very happy with it as i knew nothing about guitars, i then compared this to other guitars like fender, gibson and ibanez and i was shocked. I have been playing guitar for 3 years now and i am now a proud owner of a gibson les paul. This guitar has no tone, it doesn’t give you the feel other guitars give you. The pickups are lifeless, the tone and volume controls get wobbly after a few touches and the 5-way selector feels cheap. The amp is ok for starters but the lead that comes with it makes a horrible buzzing sound which gets higher when you put on distortion and turn the volume up, so aslong as you buy a new cable the amp should be ok.

If you really want a guitar worth your money at this price then go for a fender squier strat which has just about everything this pack has but the guitar and amp are so much better, even if the amp is 10-WATT on the fender and its 15-WATT on the ion version, the fender sounds so much more lively
