This guitar is a good beginners guitar. Thats about all it’s good for. Obviously if you’ve plyed before don’t get this guitar. I have been playing for several months now and this guitar was a pretty good one to start with, mainly because this kit comes with everything you need to get started.

This was exactly as advertized. Exactly what I was looking for at a great price!

You get what you pay for
The guitar has a bad hum in it when your plugged into any amp. When you start playing it fades, like the pick ups are not the best.

It doesnt produce a clean sound in any pick up position.

This product would be good for kids, but only the very beginners.

Female Playing guitar
I’m 21 female and wanted to learn the electric guitar. This is my very first guitar and i think it was great and very worth the price. In someone else comment on this item they said there’s supose to be a book to come with and there is on the actual CD it has a web site for you to go to and down load the book for FREE. This is agreat price for all that it includes. The instructions on the cd are fantastic. I was exspecting to be disappointed but im very pleased with the quality of the starter pack. Yes it might be made cheap but if you take care of it like you should then you’ll be just fine and if its your very first guitar its better to get a cheap one first to make sure your gonna still be intrested in playing down the road you don’t want to waste alot of money on something you might get frustrated with and not want to play any more.

Worst birthday gift ever
I got this guitar pack from my parents for my birthday. It was lame. I told them to get a Fender Standard Series Stratocaster and a matching Fender amp but they said that it was too expensive. They got what they paid for. $84 for a guitar alone usually signals junk, but for a complete package? Firewood.

The guitar’s neck dented easily, and the tremolo bar snapped. The amp started buzzing shortly afterwards. We returned it.

Oddly enough, this site sells Gibson, Epiphone, BC Rich, and Schecter instruments, but no Fender or Squier instruments, only one Ibanez, and only the low-to-middle-end Jacksons.

what else could you’ve asked for?
This is an excellent guitar package for the price, a little over a hundred dollars with shipping and handeling. The guitar sounds good and I haven’t had any problems with it. The amp is small but this is more for practicing at home and not for playing at concerts. You also get a carrying bag for the guitar, 2 picks, a strap, pitch pipe, a cable for the amp and a dvd. Now I do have some minor complaints, first I’m not exactly sure how to use the amp properly it just comes with a piece of paper that briefly describes the the knobs do. Also the dvd, the guy on it is so boring to watch and it seems that this dvd is supposed to come with a book because he keeps telling you to look at the book.

So if you want a guitar and learn to play it but you don’t have much cash then I would highly reccomend this product to you and buy a guitar learning book with a cd or dvd while you’re at it.
